About the Role

We’ve recently uplifted our assurance function and are looking for passionate and experienced assurance professionals to shape the future of the function. We have several Assurance Analyst and Senior Assurance Analyst opportunities available working across different portfolios and focused on partnering with the business to improve our control environment. The purpose of these positions is to assess the effectiveness of Youi’s control environment and to provide assurance, using a risk-based approach, over Youi’s risks, obligations, and processes.

A normal week may see you involved with:

• Completing controls assurance in accordance with the assurance plan
• Assessing design adequacy and operating effectiveness of controls in managing Youi’s risks and obligations
• Identifying opportunities and weaknesses in Youi’s control environment and where appropriate, recommending improvements
• Collaborating with stakeholders in Operations, Marketing, People & Culture, IT, Finance or Product departments to present key findings and recommendations
• Identifying and interpreting trends in data and presenting this in an insightful manner to add value to key business stakeholders as a business partner

About You

If you’ve got a background in internal audit or other assurance disciplines, you’ll be able to hit the ground running by implementing best practice assurance or audit plans. Candidates with exposure to financial services or insurance are preferred, however experience working in a Big Four or mid-tier consulting firm is also advantageous to have developed a robust knowledge of assurance activities. Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are also preferred (i.e., commerce/business) and professional qualifications are advantageous (e.g., CIA, CA).
