About the Role

Our Product Office have lots of exciting initiatives planned for 2022 and beyond as we work towards achieving our Big Hairy Audacious Goal. We recently entered the Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance scheme in NSW and South Australia and as such a 12 Month Contract is now available for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join us and support the growth of the product.

The successful BA will have direct influence on CTP business outcomes and the product development roadmap, working collaboratively to guide and develop strategic solutions which maximise value for our CTP customers. The team can't wait for you to start to have your skills as part of their specialised team, and because of our ambitions growth targets, there is opportunity to consider permanent employment at the end of the contract.

This is a really exciting role where you will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders due to the end-to-end product scope, including Product Management, Pricing and Underwriting, Business Intelligence, Marketing, Digital Sales and Service, Operations/Call Centre as well as a range of external stakeholders. You will also help to embed CTP in South Australia post launch, deliver Innovative Digital Service solutions in NSW, and build rich customer Data and Insights to position Youi as the CTP challenger in the market.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced BA who is familiar or has had exposure to agile ways of working. You’ll ideally come from a financial services or insurance background, with exposure to CTP a massive plus! Technical knowledge of programming, system design, IT infrastructure and database concepts will set you up for success, as would a solid handle on all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle. You’ll be adept at documenting requirements, have sound specification writing skills and a good grasp of business process re-engineering. You’re naturally curious and not afraid of digging deeper to get to the heart of the problem or issue. You’re known for your sound ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs, and develop appropriate technical solutions. Qualifications in Agile, BABOK or BA highly advantageous.
