An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Policy and Project Officer on a Full-Time, Fixed-Term basis in the Local Government and Regional Priorities unit.
The Housing Policy branch is responsible for social and affordable housing policy and reform, including leading Home Victoria's Cabinet and cross government interface on housing issues. The branch is responsible for Aboriginal Housing policy and sector engagement and partnerships with community housing and local government.
The Local Government and Regional Priorities unit is responsible for leading Homes Victoria's industry engagement with community housing organisations and local governments to improve social and affordable housing outcomes for Victorians, as part of the Victorian Government's Big Housing Build. The unit is responsible for developing strategies and platforms for engagement with these sectors, including compacts and partnership frameworks.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to undertake analysis, develop policy and engage strategically with key stakeholders to improve social and affordable housing outcomes for Victorians, as part of the Victorian Government's Big Housing Build.
This position will provide a high-performing individual with the opportunity to apply their skills to support growth in social and affordable housing in Victoria by establishing and maintaining a strong, collaborative partnership with the local government sector. As part of a small dynamic fast-paced team, you will develop, evaluate and implement policies at an operational level within resourcing, timeline, and budget parameters, and liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS POLICY
