Your Opportunity:
Due to the continued success of our Asia Pacific operations and the strong pipeline of work forecast in WA, we are lookign for a Senior to Principal Track Engineer - Permanent Way - to join our Rail team in Perth.
Provide high quality engineering design and consultancy services to the rail industry in Western Australia. This position requires the candidate to prepare overhead wiring designs from feasibility, through concept and ultimately to full detail design.
The candidate will be required to undertake layout design, sectioning, allocation design and provide technical support to construction teams.
- Develop, review, approve and manage complex investigations, and field studies
- Manage field work involving coordination of teams and undertake field work without supervision
- Manage environmental risk on complex projects
- Review or verify and interpret engineering drawings and reports and provide technical input into a diverse range of projects and ensure that work produced complies with quality system and client requirements
- Monitor and manage the scope of multiple projects of varying complexity and size
- Assist in winning proposals and pursuits
- Deliver best client outcomes/options which have save the client costs/time
- Apply legislation, standards, guidelines and project specifications
- Communicate complex technical issues to clients and guide the client through regulatory processes
- Seek information to understand client needs and effectively anticipate and meet client needs and encourage client focus in colleagues
- Define and implement action plans to respond to client feedback and exceed client expectations whilst taking responsibility for client satisfaction and loyalty

What we will love about you:
- Proven years’ experience working in the Rail sector
- Typically, 6 to 10+ years’ experience in rail and general transport infrastructure
- Bachelors Degree (Engineering) or Equivalent
- Proven ability to prepare technical reports and review large project reports. Plan, review and approval of major reports and assessments
- Experienced in winning job from a job
- Demonstrated competence in providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects
- High level skills in applying safety in design practices and processes.
- Demonstrated multiple instances of delivering best client outcomes/options which have saved the client costs/time
