Your Impact
Reporting to the QA Manager, your new role as Software Engineer will primarily focus on curating, designing, building and running software for testing including tools, frameworks, platforms and automated tests for our digital platforms and experiences (Web, API, iOS, Android and data stores).
You will use your skills and pragmatic approach to continuously improve our frameworks, automate key test scenarios and ensure appropriate level of quality has been considered in the software development lifecycle.
You will collaborate with other digital teams to promote the adoption and provide hands-on support for the innovative testing tools, frameworks and platforms that you have curated and created.

Your Background
With a strong experience in good software engineering practices, ability to take ownership and meet deadlines. Furthermore, you will have:

Commercial experience developing solutions in modern languages and frameworks like NodeJS, React or similar.

Demonstrated passion and opinions around producing high quality software through contemporary and appropriate automation approaches

Experience with JavaScript testing frameworks like mocha, AngularJS, React and TDD practices
-
Experience with automated testing and mocking frameworks
-
Understanding of modern web and mobile applications, APIs
-
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
-
Experience with cloud services such as AWS is highly desirable

Willingness to teach others
