Team Leader Bridges

  • Full Time: 76 hour fortnight.
  • Salary: An hourly rate from $35.23 to $40.52 + superannuation (position will likely require some overtime, rates will be as per the Local Government Award 2020)

Who we are:

The team: You will aid in providing construction support and supervision across Roads Maintenance and Construction Projects. Projects may include complete road realignments (clearing, drainage, kerb & gutter, landscaping, earthworks and pavement works), flood restoration works (retaining walls, culvert replacements, pavement repairs etc) and concrete and steel bridge construction (LCC are currently in the process of replacing all old timber bridges throughout the LGA). Lismore Council operates 5 x Construction Crews made up of 8 x staff members (operators and labourers) and 6 x Maintenance Crews made up of 3 to 5 staff members. Lismore City Council also has a Roads Maintenance Contract with Transport for NSW managing the Bruxner Highway and Bangalow Road within the LGA. This contract also includes 1 x construction project per year.
