The Role

The Families and Young People Services Team currently has a Permanent Full-time vacancy for a Team Manager to join the Mercy Community Family Intervention Program who will be responsible for delivering a consistently high-quality service across the Toowoomba/Warwick region. The Team Manager position is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the program areas associated with that team. Specifically, the Team Manager will provide personal, professional and organisational support to program workers to assist them in the conduct of their duties, to ensure high quality service provision to children, families and other stakeholders.

To be eligible for this position you will require (Key Selection Criteria):

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications Social Work, Social Science, Psychology or related discipline.
  • Experience providing advice and leadership in supporting staff to manage clients with multiple and complex needs.
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the Queensland child protection system.
  • Evidence of current vaccination against whooping cough and COVID-19 or willingness to obtain prior to commencement, unless applicable of exemption is provided.
  • You must hold a current Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver’s License
  • You must hold a positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and be able to obtain a positive Police Check and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.

This position offers a competitive annual salary of $96,962 - $101,250 plus superannuation in line with level 6 of our Enterprise Agreement. You will also have the opportunity to increase your take-home pay by salary sacrificing and other benefits.
