Salary: $2,045 to $2,470 per fortnight, plus 10.5% superannuation and an RDO per fortnight

Hornsby Shire is located on Sydney's upper north shore, approximately 25 kilometres north of the CBD. Known as the ‘Bushland Shire’, our local government area is characterised by bushland comprising national park, major waterways, natural reserves and rural landscape. The rest of the Shire combines urban, rural and open spaces.

About the role

We have two interesting roles available to maintain and prepare 2 turf wickets along with maintaining amenities around the sites.

You will prepare and maintain the best possible playing surface for the users of Council’s turf wicket and turf practice facilities. The position ensures safe and enjoyable ovals, oval surrounds and associated facilities.

About you

Experience/interest in turf wicket preparation is essential, along with a customer service focus.

Salary will depend on qualifications and experience you bring to the position. Applications will be accepted from unqualified applicants with an interest in turf wicket preparation through to applicants with a Cert 3 in Sports Turf Management or related field.

Please note you will be required to use your own vehicle between sites for which a vehicle allowance is paid. Some weekend overtime is required for this position.
