Job Summary:

Participates in building, fabricating, repairing and wiring Trailers and essential tools, equipment and fixtures necessary to maintain a a highly functioning and effective fleet that meets State and Federal regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job. Plan details of working procedure as well as tools and material requirements.
• Fabricates equipment by cutting and welding various metals, wiring and handling applicable industrial tooling.
• Build/repair equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.
• Uses cutting equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape.
• Completes additional tasks as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to fabricate equipment by cutting and welding various metals, wiring and handling applicable industrial tooling.
• Ability to build/repair equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.
