ABOUT THE ROLE:

Werribee Mercy Hospital is a public hospital servicing the growing community of the West. As our service continues to grow a dynamic individual is required to join the team to aid in the effective patient flow from the Emergency Department into the appropriate stream of care.

  • Exciting role in our Whole of Hospital program
  • Play an integral role providing acute healthcare expertise to support the delivery and implementation of transformational initiatives
  • Drive clinical change required to improve patient flow and access to care across the hospital
  • Improve the patient experience, focusing on timely patient care across the continuum
  • Allied Health Manager Grade 4B or NUM level 3 or equivalent

ABOUT YOU:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in managing hospital patient access and flow improvement initiatives
  • Allied Health or Nursing/Midwifery qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Project experience
  • Strong relevant clinical skills and experience in acute settings
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data

Werribee Mercy Hospital is a General Public Hospital located in the rapidly growing Western suburbs of Melbourne. Our services include surgical, medical, maternity, newborn, paediatrics renal dialysis, emergency, mental health, rehabilitation, aged and palliative care. The hospital has undergone significant expansion with the opening of the intensive care unit, additional operating theatres and two new wards, taking the total number of beds to 298.
