NNSWLHD is seeking enthusiastic AINs to join the casual pool for our Multi-Purpose Service sites (Kyogle, Nimbin, Bonalbo and Urbenville).

As an Assistant in Nursing, you'll provide direct care to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Duties include assisting with patient care interventions and maintaining accurate health care documentation.

The Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) model exists in smaller communities and integrates a range of health services, including acute care, respite and palliative care, emergency, allied health, primary health and community health, under one management structure.

If you have:

• CHC30208 Certificate III in Aged Care or CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent qualification; OR equivalent experience; OR completion of one (1) or more years of training as an undergraduate nursing student
• Good knowledge of basic nursing care, including physiologic observations and assistance with activities of daily living
• Effective communication skills, computer skills and the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team
• Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/seven day rotating roster
