The role

Multispares is seeking to appoint a Delivery Driver / Storeperson who is wanting to work a diverse and challenging role in warehousing and product delivery with our team in Illawarra.

This is a permanent role, focused on the safe and time delivery of our products while assisting in maintaining the cleanliness, safety and efficiency of the warehouse.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your key responsibilities include:

• Delivery of product to customers and collecting stock returns from customers and suppliers
• Assisting in checking and processing of stock received into the warehouse
• Picking and packing of stock to be dispatched, ensuring that all deliveries are packed, labelled and recorded correctly
• Observing and adherence safe work practices in the transport, delivery and handling of products

The candidate

The successful candidate must be an independent worker and at the same time a reliable team player. You will have good communication and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and organised under pressure.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have/be:

• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
• Unrestricted Drivers License is required
• Forklift license is preferred but not essential
• Physically fit with a good safety record and a good working knowledge of H&S systems
• Good organisational skills and effective time management skills
• Basic computer skills and experience in computerised warehouse systems
• Pro-active, self-motivated, reliable and customer-focused
