About the role
The Infection Prevention and Clinical Operations Advisor will provide quality initiatives, programs, systems and advice services to non-clinical employees at the FSH. These services will include pre-employment immunisation and vaccination program support and compliance, annual influenza program planning and implementation, training of non-clinical teams, contract tracing, stakeholder management, committee representation, and IP expert advice and support.
The purpose of this role is also to ensure the facilities management services align to infection prevention and management standards and guidelines as set out by the Department of Health and by regulatory bodies and to ensure all services are compliant with Quality, Compliance and Risk.

About you
As an Infection Prevention and Clinical Operations Advisor, you will be a self-starter, self-motivated and have the ability to work independently and as part of the wider team. You have strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide expert advice to a wide range of stakeholders. You will have sound research and analytical skills to produce and provide statistical data and compliance reports when required. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do.

To be successful in this role you will have:
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
Registration with the Nursing and Midwives Board of WA as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA)
Current Immunisation or Vaccination Certificate enabling practitioner to administer vaccinations
Current CPR and Basic Life Support Training
Auditor Qualifications
Post Graduate Qualification (Cert or Diploma) in Infection Control
Excellent computer skills (word, outlook, excel, powerpoint)
Demonstrated knowledge of immunisation and vaccination protocols and management of occupational exposure to blood and body fluids and health assessment in a healthcare setting.
Demonstrated experience within a Healthcare environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
Previous experience in the area of infection prevention and management desired.
