HOURS: Monday through Friday 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM; overtime available

The Supervisor is responsible for items contained below.

Lead Duties:

  • Must be comfortable with computers.
  • Must organize daily work by priority, starting with the oldest first.
  • Work with factory representatives on warrant or recall issues.
  • Schedule core & warranty pickups.
  • Create Core & Warranty reports using AS400 program & Excel spreadsheets.
  • Wrap, Weigh, & Fill out Shipping Papers.
  • Call trucking companies or dispatch agents for pickups.
  • Do “End of month” warranty returns to all vendors.
  • Run worksheets, verify & run warranty reports.
  • Forward reports for credit via email, vendor’s website, or as packing lists with returned product.
  • Create weekly warranty returns to other warehouses.
  • Create transfers of product returned to us that is stocked elsewhere.
  • Forklift experience is necessary.
  • Can provide training.
  • Must be able to repeatedly bend and lift part that can frequently be fairly heavy.
  • Must inspect new returns for signs of being installed or of being a used part. That is being improperly returned as a new part. Such parts receive no credit & must be retuned to the sender.
  • Must accurately scan in new merchandise to the correct zone crate.
  • Must setup & label daily stock batch crates.
  • Must be willing and unafraid to ask questions.
  • Manually check in & neatly pack rebuild-able items for return to the vendors.
  • Identify damaged or disassembled items.
  • Must setup new j-pack boxes for core returns.
  • Must keep core and warranty items separate.
  • Must be able to handle battery cores, check in by the core value of different types 7 neatly stack & wrap per DOT Specs.
  • Must learn to identify items claimed as defective by brand to accept or deny credit.
  • Learn to read date codes on items that have a specific shelf life. (EX. Batteries, Hand Cleaners, Chemicals).
  • Watch for Bulletins concerning recalls and handle the product per bulletin requirements.

Conditions of Employment:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Wear appropriate footwear protection and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as directed by Company policy.
  • Acknowledgement of and adherence to all Company policies and procedures as contained within the Fisher Auto Parts Employee and Driver’s Handbooks.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted;
  • Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, reach, lift, carry, bend, kneel, squat, and stoop;
  • Also required to climb, push/pull, balance, crouch or crawl.
  • May be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and/or vehicles, high/precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, various degrees of cold and heat, risk of electrical shock, items of bulky or varying weight, risk of explosion, and/or vibration. Noise level may be moderate to heavy.
  • Must have considerable mobility, and able to stand and/or sit for long durations of time.
