As a Transport Engineer/Planner, you will be responsible for undertaking and delegating a range of responsibilities, from; complex problem solving and innovation, information analysis, SIDRA analytics, report writing and client engagement and liaison. The expectation will be that you will be given support from peers and leadership to get up to speed with Stantec’s approach and focus on delivering a quality product and quickly take on your own projects and clients.

About the role:

You will primarily work with the longest established service offering of the Victorian Transportation group, within the transport engineering team. This will see you work with some of the foremost traffic and transport experts in the Victorian market. Projects vary in size and type which presents a variety of projects and work with a large and passionate group of professionals.

• \tGrowth area master planning

• \tRail and Road Infrastructure

• \tA range of commercial, retail, residential and industrial land uses

To be successful for this role you'll need:

• \tTertiary qualifications in Engineering/Planning (or related discipline) relative to Transport

• \tTraffic engineering / Transport planning experience with demonstrable ability – we would hope that you have managed projects, or had a large amount of autonomy on projects with fees up to $50 - 100k in value

• \tStrong capability to manage workload and deliver projects

• \tAbility to work across multiple projects simultaneously

• \tEffective communication with clients and internal stakeholders

• \tCollaborative approach to work and team mentality along with mentoring junior staff
