The Role

Spotless is looking for an experienced and motivated Kitchen Hand for this busy Hospital in Melbourne. The Kitchen hands assist the catering team by providing friendly, attentive and efficient service to the Alfred patients, by supplying them with healthy meals tailored for their nutritional needs.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting chefs with washing cooking equipment
• Using commercial dishwasher
• Food preparation, presentation and delivery of food & beverages including sandwiches
• Adhering to and assisting with general Food Safety & HACCAP compliance
• Maintaining kitchen hygiene cleaning standards

Skills and Experience

• • Previous experience in a commercial food preparation environment is desirable
  • Understanding of OH&S and food safety practices
  • An ability to work as part of a great team
